I’m currently rocking Fedora 15. I despise the lack of rolling release. This every six month release cycle that Ubuntu and Fedora have I think are pretty lame. I suppose that rolling releases have their disadvantages too now that I think about it; but I digress.
Overall I’m really happy with Fedora so far except Awesome WM fails to properly read my config. I’m not sure how the code behind Awesome is picking up the file but on Fedora 15 for me it’s failing completely. I’ve only got it to recognize my config vs. the one in /etc once and now it appears to be stuck on that setup despite the fact I’ve changed it since then.
If anyone has any idea why I’d love to know. So far I love awesome outside of that.
I signed up for the Fedora Users mailing list becuase you have to subscribe to post. Wow. What a complete waste of time. I suppose most mailing lists generally are full of stuff you don’t care about, but this is insane. Threads go on forever. And not good ones either. Stupid ones like LXDE vs Gnome. Guess what…. they’re different. Accept it.
I wrote a basic ctags implementation for Falcon. You can find it here on my GitHub page. I’d actually prefer you help me extend it more than I’d you to use it, bad sadly you generally have to do both.
Either way, Enjoy!
I was diagnosed with overuse… so in light of that and my complete lack of attention to this blog (you can connect the dots) I leave you with this:
